Five questions to ask before you buy any projector
- 1BrightnessCan I see it running? Brightness is measured in ANSI, ISO, CVIA and plain marketing lumens, and the numbers don't compare. The only fair test is the projector running in a room with the lights on.
- 2ResolutionNative, or input? "4K support" usually means it accepts a 4K signal. Native resolution is what you actually see. Ask which one.
- 3AppsWill local TV and Netflix work out of the box? Don't take the box's word for it. Ask to see them running before you pay.
- 4ServiceWho repairs it in year 3? And can you walk in after the warranty ends?
- 5FitWhat size will it make in my room? Use the Smart Planner or WhatsApp us a room photo.
The right brightness, not the most
Like an aircon, a projector should be sized to the room. More brightness than the room needs doesn't make a better picture. In a small Singapore room it often makes viewing less comfortable. We help you pick what suits your room and your family.
